KATTO UUTEEN USKOON

Kuten edellisessä postauksessa mainitsin, niin yläkertaan tulee meidän makuhuoneet. Tein itse suunnitelmat yläkertaa varten ja suunnittelutoimisto teki niistä varsinaiset kuvat. Valitettavasti skannerini ei toimi joten minulla ei ole näyttää teille kuvia siitä miltä se tulee näyttämään.

Kattoremontista tuli suurempi kuin oli ajateltu. Nälkä kasvaa syödessä...

Ensin lähti pellit...

Eli kattona toimi toista kuukautta pressu! Homma ei sujunut remppapojilta ihan putkeen joten tuo pressuviritelmä ei oikein selvinnyt kunnialla vuoden 2011 viimeisistä kuukausista...

Pieni kurkistus miltä pressukaton alla näytti.

Tässä siis pieni kurkistus remonttiin. Pysykää mukana ja nähkää mitä sitten kävikään...

Villa Branten esittäytyy ensi kertaa

Päätin nyt sitten vaihtaa suomenkieleen tässä blogissa... Mutta nyt itse asiaan eli Villa Branten.Kuvan laatu on jostain syystä nyt vähän heikonpuoleinen, toivottavasti kestätte sen.

  Eli Villa Branten on talo jonka ostimme elokuussa 2011. Villa Branten sai nimensä tontin mukaan jolla talo sijaitsee. Tässä kuvassa talo on siinä kunnossa kun sen ostimme, eli osin korjattu ja joiltain osin vielä pitää korjailla.

Etupihan puolelta kuvattuna

Nyt asustelemme siis talon alakerrassa vähän ahtaasti. Pojat jakaa sellaisen postimerkin kokoisen huoneen johon mahtuu juuri ja juuri sängyt ja lipastot eikä juuri muuta. Keittiö on onneksi suuri mutta sekin toimii osaltaan erilaisten huonekalujen ja tavaroiden väliaikaisena varastointitilana. Näin myös olohuoneessa, siellä on sohvat ym olkkari tavarat mutta sen lisäksi siellä on meidän parivuoteemme sekä niitä muita tavaroita ja huonekaluja jotka eivät nyt muualle mahdu.

Tuo takapihan puoleinen kuistikin on tupaten täynnä tavaraa tällä hetkellä. Ai miksikö joka nurkka tursuaa ja asutaan ahtaasti? Minäpä kerron...



Takapihan puolelta kuvattuna

Tarkoituksena on siis rakentaa yläkerran kylmä ullakkotila meille makuhuoneiksi. Mutta ensin tuo katto meni remonttiin. Kerron siitä enemmän toisella kertaa. Myös talon päädystä pitää uusia ulkovuoraus.

A little peek in last X-mas

I didn't have the time or energy in December to write about our christmas holidays. Well I'm not gonna go in to details 'cause the christmas is over.

But here is a few photos from the dinner table. I bought the beautiful white deer a few weeks before x-mas in a little shop (I can't remember the name...) in the old town of Porvoo. I immediately fell in love with it when I saw it. Don't you just love it!!!

The second picture shows the whole tablesetting. I used a silvery tablecloth and 3 red tablerunners with tassels as a base for this setting. Then I arranged champagne glasses with red and white roses, 2 sorts of candlesticks. I also used hyasints that I planted in dessert bowls with cellofan and added som decorations to them. Then I joined all this together with a silvery wire with icy beads on it.

The dishes I jused were white plates for the main course and red plates for the dessert and wineglasses and vintage coffe cups (sorry I don't have pictures of them for now). The napkins I folded (after a little thinking and trying) like some sort of flower... a water lily maby.

Trying to make my blog look like me...

I've tried to make sence of how to make the blog look like me. I just picked a picture and started tying. I've changed and changed again and almost given up.

Well it isn't nearly perfect yet, but it has to do for now :)

I've been thinking that should I continue writing only in english or should I write both in english and finish or maby even in swedish. Probably in finish with a few comments in english?



WHAT A RELIEF....!

Now I, or actually we all, can sleep in peace again.

We got the lone we wanted and that means that we can finnish the renovation that we started. And that means that we can stay and live our dream.

THE PROBLEMS OF LIVING...

Hi everyone or anyone...

I'm so desperate at the moment. We bought a house in september and started renovating the roof and building our bedrooms upstairs. Actually we have a buildingcompany doing all the work. The problem is that all the money that we were gonna use for it, it's all gone!!! I'm not gonna go in on what happened to them here.

Now we need to come up with a lot of money or we will loose the house. So now we are negotiating with the bank of the possibility of getting a bigger loan. I hate the thought of it not happening.

I've got a job interview today for a job that I want and that would bring me more money. My boyfriend is also looking and having a few options.

I'm so hoping that we can fix this somehow, because the kids have just settled in this new environment. I would hate to tear them up again. Moving here was hard enough for them, leaving all their friends behind.
